A great new opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant has been created to join this growing market leader that has an innovative approach in the commodities sector. This role will offer challenge and opportunity working with industry leaders who enjoy developing teams and individuals to help them achieve their goals. In a supportive environment on the edge of the CBD this will provide a platform for growth.

Reporting into the Financial Controller you will take a lead role in delivering the technical month end reporting.

Duties will include:

Preparation of statutory statements in accordance to ASX requirements

Report on revenue and forecasts including cashflow management

Reconciliations across balance sheet and general ledger

Manage audit engagements

Support financial performance analysis

Review outputs from the processing team

Drive business process improvements

Ideally you will be CA/CPA qualified with a passion for driving and delivering technical reporting in an ASX based environment either in commerce or a public practice background. An ability to investigate, research and resolve technical application or accounting standards will be paramount to the success in this role.
