They currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to lead and enhance the payroll function within the business. This role offers the opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation in a period of growth and innovation.

About the role:

• Leading the end-to-end payroll function, including management of two direct reports
• Ensuring timely and accurate processing of employee remuneration and entitlements
• Overseeing statutory obligations such as Superannuation, Payroll Tax, Child Support, and WorkCover
• Driving the development and implementation of payroll strategies, systems, and process improvements
• Interpreting and applying Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements accurately
• Producing detailed payroll reports and providing insights to senior leadership
• Conducting regular quality control audits to maintain compliance and data integrity
• Supporting various ad hoc projects and duties as required.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar payroll management position
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• High-level written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced numeracy, investigative, and critical thinking skills
• In-depth knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance requirements, and full function operations.
