Due to increased volume and growth, they are seeking a dedicated Payroll Officer to join their finance team.

The Role
As a Payroll Officer reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll take ownership of complex payroll processing while ensuring compliance across multiple states. With flexibility to work 3, 4 or 5 days/week this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the finance team.

Key Responsibilities include;

• Process and review fortnightly payroll for 350+ employees across multiple pay runs.
• Serve as a central point of contact for employee payroll inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with 5 Awards, 6 EBAs, and multi-state regulations.
• Handle salary packaging, leave management, superannuation, and payroll tax.
• Assist with error identification, variance analysis, and process improvements
• Prepare payroll reports and support finance and HR teams as needed.

About You!
With 3+ years of experience, you bring expertise in payroll processing, awards, EBAs, and compliance. Tech-savvy and proficient in payroll systems, you excel at managing the end-to-end payroll function with accuracy and efficiency. A proactive problem-solver, you work independently while collaborating effectively, ensuring precision, confidentiality, and compliance in every detail.
