As an experienced and proactive payroll professional, your standard responsibilities will include:

End-to-end processing of weekly and fortnightly payrolls across two entities including onboarding, terminations and other adhoc payroll as required

Interpretation of EBAs and Awards, including SCHADS and Waste Management Award, and training of key staff to ensure consistency and compliance. This includes a project to improve the end-to-end payroll process.

Assist with the preparation of organisational payroll process documents, procedures and policies (as required)

Responsible for the maintenance of the payroll system in TechnologyOne. Support any system changes, implementations and organisation-wide improvement projects.

• Provide great customer service when addressing employee payroll queries and educating staff on the correct process

Assist with the year-end audit process

Identify efficiencies and lead process improvement. Implement ideas proactively and collaboratively with the Finance Manager and Accounts Team.

As the ideal candidate for the role you will have at least 5 years end to end payroll experience. Technologyone or experience would be a distinct advantage, however, not essential. You will be naturally intuitive, be able to identify areas for process improvement and be someone that's easily approachable.
