The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Training Services & Compliance Officer to join our team and support the effective administration and delivery of our Smart and Skilled program, including:
NSW Government-funded apprenticeships and traineeships
AgSkilled program coordination
Smart and Skilled contract management
This role is vital in ensuring our funding compliance and excellence in training delivery. You will work directly with NSW Training Services and internal teams to ensure obligations are met, documentation is up to date, and reporting is accurate.
Key Responsibilities
Liaise with NSW Training Services to administer and monitor Smart and Skilled contracts.
Coordinate and track student enrolments, training plans, commencements, completions, and claims under Smart and Skilled funding.
Oversee apprenticeship and traineeship records, including sign-ups, progress tracking, and coordination with employers.
Assist in the administration of the AgSkilled program.
Ensure compliance with ASQA standards, particularly around record keeping, data validation, and audit preparation.
Maintain accurate student management system data and compliance documentation.
Collaborate with trainers, assessors, and operational staff to ensure training delivery aligns with funding and compliance requirements.
Support internal systems and processes to improve efficiency and maintain contractual integrity.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Experience working with Smart and Skilled contracts, apprenticeships/traineeships, or RTO funding programs.
Strong understanding of ASQA and national standards for RTOs.
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Proficiency with student management systems (e.g., aXcelerate or VETtrak).
Ability to work independently and proactively across multiple programs and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Previous RTO experience (desirable but not essential).
