The opportunity:

Full-time.

Level 4 - salary of $74,332 per annum*.

Located at our Waterloo Operations Depot.

We’re looking for a reliable and proactive General Hand to join our Parks and Environment Team, where you’ll play a key role in the upkeep and maintenance of our parks, gardens, street scapes and reserves.

What you’ll do:

Undertake mowing, reticulation, horticulture and general maintenance programmes and projects.

Ensure all plant and equipment is properly maintained and in a safe working condition ensuring daily prestart inspections are undertaken and documented appropriately.

Ensure daily traffic management requirements are set up/taken down at the start and end of each day in accordance with the relevant Traffic Management Plan.

What we’re looking for:

Qualifications in Horticulture or relevant industry experience.

White Card.

Be willing to obtain if required: Basic Traffic Management, Chemical Handling, Chainsaw Operator, and First Aid.

Sound communication skills with the ability to be able to communicate clearly and concisely to a broad range of stakeholders.
