LEADING HAND / GRADER OPEARATOR

The Shire of Mukinbudin is seeking a highly motivated individual with experience as a Grader Operator, to join our Works Team in the role of Leading Hand/Grader Operator.

The successful applicant will be responsible for undertaking and supervising road construction, re-sheeting, and drainage work. The role also involves assisting with the daily coordination and management of the Works Crew, along with operating other Council machinery as requested. A minimum of an unrestricted HR Driver’s Licence is essential.

This position is based in Mukinbudin, a progressive town located 296kms north-east of Perth in the Wheatbelt. The town is well-equipped with shopping and banking facilities, medical services, excellent sporting amenities, day-care and a district high school.

Depending on skills and experience, we are offering between Level 7 to 9 of the Local Government Industry Award 2020, 4 weeks and two days’ Annual Leave with 17.5% Leave Loading, all PPE supplied, plus a 9-day fortnight and a generous superannuation scheme. A rental property may be available to the successful applicant, if required, with relocation expenses negotiated in accordance with Council policy.
