The opportunity

New Grade Landscapes is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Landscape Leading Hand to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for not only leading but working within a team to deliver high quality residential landscape construction projects throughout the Perth Metro area.

Key responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of landscapers to complete and mange a variety of landscaping construction tasks including demolition/earthworks, masonry works, paving, site preparations, lawn installations, reticulation install & repairs plus planting.

Allocate work, provide guidance, and monitor the team's progress to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery

Identify and procure the necessary tools, equipment, and materials required for each project

Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide updates on project status

Maintain detailed records of work completed, materials used, and client feedback

Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner, adhering to relevant health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Landscape Leading Hand or Supervisor role

Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, materials, and equipment

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve high-quality results

Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Proficient in operating various landscaping tools and equipment

Valid driver's licence and reliable transport

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
