EC-WEST (West Kimberley Futures – Empowered Communities) was established by West Kimberley Aboriginal leaders in June 2021. We are the neutral ‘backbone’ organisation for Empowered Communities in the West Kimberley region of Western Australia.
We hear the call of West Kimberley Aboriginal people and are passionate about collectively achieving better systems-level visibility and accessibility of services and programs, according to their priorities and needs, so that everyone can be better supported.
Position Overview
The Monitoring & Evaluation Manager is essential for implementing our monitoring and evaluation framework and advancing data initiatives across the organisation. You will ensure the effective collection, analysis and sharing of data to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
This opportunity is offered as a 12-month position with a possibility of extension.
Ideal Candidate
You are a analytical, data orientated and passionate about using data to drive impact. With experience in monitoring and evaluation, you are confident in designing and applying data collection methods, conducting analysis and presenting insights clearly to support unformed decision-making.
You have strong organisational skills, the ability to work independently and a collaborative approach when working across teams. You understanding of culturally appropriate data practices and commitment to continuous learning makes you as asset to both strategic and community-focused settings.

In recognition of your commitment, you will receive an attractive remuneration package of $102,478.17 (exclusive of Superannuation), along with a range of additional benefits, including:
5 weeks annual leave;
10 days personal leave;
Study leave;
Cultural leave;
Paid leave during closure over the Christmas period (addition to leave entitlements);
Annual airfare allowance after 12 months of continuous service; and
Generous salary packaging options.
