Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator at Raging Waters Sydney is responsible for the end-to-end management of inventory, logistics, and warehouse operations across the park. This includes coordination with multiple departments, maintaining safety standards, and optimising efficiency through just-in-time practices and manual tracking systems. This role is crucial to ensuring seamless daily operations through the efficient flow of goods and materials.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Stock Ordering, Receiving, and Handling

Manage purchase orders and supplier receipting in Workday

Inspect deliveries for quality and accuracy

Label, categorize, and store stock by type (dry, chilled, frozen, retail, cleaning, mechanical, etc.)

Maintain clean, safe, and organised storage areas

2. Inventory Management

Track stock manually using SharePoint, Excel, and Workday

Conduct regular checks, using FIFO principles

Manage monthly stocktakes and prevent overstock or shortages

3. Daily Operations Support

Distribute stock to departments as required

Coordinate with department heads for urgent or daily needs

Communicate clearly on inventory availability and delivery timing

4. Safety and Compliance

Lead safety protocols including handling hazardous materials and equipment checks.

Conduct regular safety drills and training; maintain logs and compliance documents.

Enforce park WHS procedures and model safe work behaviours.

5. Cost Control and Efficiency

Use just-in-time practices to reduce waste and storage costs

Build strong supplier relationships; negotiate beneficial terms

Support stock forecasting aligned with park attendance/activity

6. Policy & System Development

Develop and refine warehouse procedures and documentation

Contribute to continuous system improvements

Workplace Health & Safety (WHS):

Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment

Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours.

Report WHS incidents, injuries and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs.

Promote proactive hazard/ near miss reporting. Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager and the People & Culture Director.

Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss and promote safety.

Requirements

Education & Licences:

Current Australian Manual Driver’s Licence (mandatory)

Forklift Licence (mandatory)

MR Licence (desirable)

Skills:

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, FIFO, and stock management

Intermediate Excel and SharePoint skills

WHS compliance knowledge

Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders

Strong communication, organisation, and leadership

Experience:

Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory control

Familiarity with supplier coordination and safety standards

Languages: Fluent English

Key Skills

Strong planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills

Problem-solving with logical, lateral thinking

Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Knowledge of quality customer service principles

Effective conflict resolution and teamwork

Professional, positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills

Initiative and strategic thinking in a fast-paced environment

Must be 18 years or older

Must be physically fit (lifting, walking, bending, etc.)

Able to work flexible hours, including early starts (from 5am), weekends, evenings, and public holidays

Will work in all weather conditions (hot, cold, sun, rain)
