The Role

Join our dynamic team at The Provedores, a leader in food service distribution. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking weekday and Saturday Warehouse Operators to ensure our products are accurately and efficiently picked and packed ready for our delivery drivers.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following.

Ensuring all procedures are followed and adhering to WHS policies and procedures

Loading and unloading trucks.

General warehouse duties such as maintaining warehouse stock control, pick and packing orders to be dispatched.

Ensure the proper storage and handling of perishable items.

Maintaining a professional appearance while representing The Provedores brand.

About you

The ideal candidate would come with warehousing experience. You will enjoy interacting with the team and have a good awareness of fresh food and and beverage products. You will be self-motivated and enjoy always being on the go.

The ideal applicant will ideally possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Good food knowledge.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to coordinate and communicate tasks with other team members.

Keeping the warehouse clean.

Pick & pack experience in a fast-paced environment.

Loading and unloading delivery trucks.

Reliable, punctual and possess an excellent work ethic.

Excellent ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Experienced forklift driving and a valid licence.

Available to work Saturday's when required.

Desirable

MR Drivers Licence and truck driving experience is desirable but not essential.
