UBS has been in insurance and restoration building business for 26 years, this month and one of the preferred partners to Australia's largest and most reputable insurance companies and our team members are some of the first responders to attend disasters and catastrophic events.

We are looking for a dynamic Contract Administration Officer with a 'can do attitude' to work in the Carrum Downs office. This full-time position (40 hour week) is onsite in Carrum Downs within the Claims & Administration Team. You will work closely with customers and insurance companies to ensure the effective delivery of building and restoration services for individuals affected by insurable events.

Responsibilities

  • Handling customer inquiries and responding to calls
  • Following up on excess payments
  • Processing contract variations
  • Following up and updating customers, project files, and internal systems
  • Converting contracts to work in progress
  • Performing general administrative and customer service duties to support the team

Attitude, Skills and Experience

  • Customer-centric approach with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and follow up on tasks to completion
  • Solid administrative skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency
  • Ability to accurately record notes in internal and external computer systems
  • Willingness to follow processes and procedures
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience in insurance, building, or trade environments is desirable but not essential

To be the successful you have or be willing to obtain the following:

  • 100 points of identification (Driver Licence or Passport)
  • Current Clear National Police
