The Role
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to help oversee day-to-day finance operations across Australia and New Zealand, with some collaboration on tasks in the US. This hybrid role reports in to an established Finance Manager and offers variety, autonomy, and room to grow.

CBD-based hybrid role, with at least 3 days per week in the office

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts receivable and payable
• Transaction and expense reconciliation
• Month- and year-end processes
• General journal preparation
• Assist withPayroll, super, BAS, IAS, PAYG
• Assist with audits, compliance & reporting
• Provide admin support to Finance Manager

About You

• Reconciliation and accounting knowledge
• Ideally proficient in Xero and Excel
• Cert IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping preferred
• Self-starter with high attention to detail
• Positive, collaborative communicator
