What you’ll be doing:

• Oversee accounts receivable and payable functions, including daily reconciliations
• Manage broker commissions, collections and cash reporting
• Month-end support and financial reporting.
• Liaise across operations, documentation and IT teams
• Reconcile CRM and Xero for accurate data and monthly reporting
• Communicate directly with freight partners and brokers on receivables
• Support the finance team in Sydney and India to maintain clean ledgers
• Monitor and assign tasks from the shared accounts inbox
• Mentor 2–3 offshore data entry staff (India-based)

What you’ll bring:

• Strong understanding of general ledger, balance sheet and P&L
• Working knowledge of Xero (or MYOB, with a willingness to learn Xero)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive, curious mindset. Someone who takes initiative and follows through
• Comfortable liaising with offshore teams and senior stakeholders
• Any experience in logistics, manufacturing or inventory-heavy environments is a bonus
