We are looking for a full-time dynamic Receptionist/Administration Support team member to join our national loss adjusting firm. Based in our Adelaide head office, you’ll be responsible for managing incoming calls, while also delivering crucial administrative support to ensure the smooth handling and progression of loss adjusting services.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include registering and setting up new claims in our claims management system, calling Insureds to acknowledge appointment of services, monitoring the central inbox to action or distribute emails efficiently, and assist with invoicing and claim file closures. You’ll also support the wider team with report preparation, database compliance, and take on a variety of general administrative duties as needed. Experience in the insurance or loss adjusting industry is advantageous.

Required skills and experience:

Administration experience.

Previous experience supporting a multi-disciplined office environment.

Experience with office equipment such as photocopier, printers and phone system.

High level of efficiency and attention to detail.

Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal skills and phone manner.

Demonstrated ability to deal tactfully with people.

Sound communication skills both written and oral.

Punctual, ready to start work at 9.00am

Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Orderly and efficient approach to administrative tasks and ability to multi-task.

Excellent computer skills / IT literacy, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
