About the role
Join the community-focused team at Southern Fleurieu Community Health Service as a Program Support and Client Systems Officer - Reception.
In this vital front-line role, you’ll be the welcoming face of Country Health Connect, delivering high-quality, confidential reception and administrative support in a busy healthcare setting. From greeting clients and handling enquiries to managing appointments, invoicing, and data entry, your strong organisational and communication skills will help ensure smooth and efficient support for our clients, clinicians, and program teams.
Who we are
Country Health Connect is operated by the six regional health networks in South Australia, which are part of SA Health and backed by the State Government. Our professional and caring staff deliver health care and wellbeing support across regional South Australia in hospitals, local health services, community centres, residential aged care facilities and clients’ own homes.
Country Health Connect focuses on delivering exceptional care to those living in our communities who need some support and assistance to remain living well and independent in their own homes, or who reside in one of our residential aged care facilities.

What skills will you make you a success?
- You will have the ability to confidently manage reception services and multiple administrative tasks with care and attention to detail.
- You will be a calm and positive communicator, with experience assisting clients from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- You will be proficient in Microsoft Office, comfortable using client management systems, and quick to learn new digital tools.
- You will bring strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving.

What else do you need to know/what is essential for success?
Working in this environment, it is important to us that we only employ people with the upmost integrity and commitment to serving the South Australian community and its visitors to the highest possible standards. To ensure that we meet that commitment there are a few checks that you will be required to undertake. These are detailed on the Role Description, and do vary depending on what is required in the role, but are likely to include the following:
- You will need to be immunised. The policy on immunisation is very detailed, so please contact the Enquiries Person for this position if you have any queries. Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy
- You will need to undergo employment screening, what you require is also on the front page of the Role Description.
