About the role
Perth Based Career Opportunity - Starting Salary $108,017 plus super
We are currently seeking a Senior Planner with a keen interest in regional planning and economic development to join our busy City and Community team.
Our team plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder and guiding land use and development in a way that respects our unique environment, heritage, industry and community aspirations.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in achieving both strategic and statutory planning priorities. You will work with the Manager Development and Growth to develop and refine our strategic planning framework, ensuring it aligns with the City's overall objectives, as well as project managing complex development applications.
The successful candidate will have completed a degree in Urban and Regional Planning or similar. You will possess excellent communication skills, as you will liaise with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and present clear and concise reports to Council. A strong understanding of Western Australian planning legislation and best practices is required, along with a growth mindset.
