About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on IT and Office All-Rounder to support our resort’s day-to-day technical operations. This diverse role covers everything from managing on-island IT infrastructure to providing user support across departments, ensuring smooth operations in a remote and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including VLANs, firewalls (pfSense), and Starlink WAN connectivity.

Administer virtualised environments and servers (VMWare, Windows Server WSUS, and Linux).

Support and troubleshoot Sale POS systems (Oracle Micros Simphony), including menu logic, button mapping, and server integration.

Write and manage Python scripts to automate report generation using Opera PMS XML exports and Excel, scheduled via Windows Task Scheduler.

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for desktops, networking, and software platforms.

Monitor and maintain Wi-Fi systems and access points (Omada), including VLAN management and remote access.

Coordinate with the external IT leadership team and contribute to long-term system upgrades.

Occasionally support office administration systems and software as required.

About You

At least bachelor degree in ICT or Mathematics.

A strong all-round IT generalist with the ability to work independently in a remote location.

Proven experience managing both hardware and software infrastructure.

Comfortable working with a mix of legacy and modern systems in a hospitality environment.

Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and self-management skills.

Previous experience in a hospitality or resort setting (highly regarded but not essential).
