Position Overview

MEET Restaurant is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Host/Supervisor on a casual or part-time basis (25 to 30 hours per week). This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $40 to $45, with the potential to transition to a full-time permanent position for the right candidate. Working closely with our management team, you will help ensure smooth operations, deliver exceptional guest service, and contribute to the ongoing success of our establishment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures

Four day working week - Thursday to Sunday

Supervise and support front-of-house staff during service hours

Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their wine and food knowledge

Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stock rotation

Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving service quality and efficiency

Qualifications:

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of wine and food pairing

Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a restaurant setting preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

Must be available to work Friday / Saturday / Sunday nights
