We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Lead / Clinical Care Coordinator (CCC) to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time maternity leave cover for 7 months, with potential to transition into a permanent role.

In this dual role, you will lead our IPC strategy within Anthem Aged Care while also supporting the Clinical Team Leaders in ensuring high-quality, person-centred care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all IPC activities, audits, and compliance across the service

Provide IPC education, training, and updates to the clinical and support teams

Ensure implementation and evaluation of IPC policies and procedures in line with best practices and regulatory standards

Support the Clinical Team Leaders with care coordination, clinical governance, and escalation management

Contribute to clinical reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration

Five year post graduate aged care experience

Postgraduate qualification or formal training in Infection Prevention and Control (IPC)

Proven experience in IPC leadership and clinical coordination, ideally in an aged care setting

Experience in coordinating emergency, incident, or outbreak response team

Strong understanding of aged care standards and regulatory requirements

Experience in ANACC implementation within the aged care sector

Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills

Ability to work collaboratively and independently within a multidisciplinary team
