About the Position
The Molly Wardaguga Institute for First Nations Birth Rights (Molly Institute) was established in honour of the Burarra Elder and midwife, Molly Wardaguga (1938-2009), who worked extensively to improve health outcomes, with a vision of returning the control of First Nations birthing services to First Nations communities. The Institute works toward Molly’s vision by supporting First Nations communities to realise their aspirations for birthing and maternal healthcare.
As the Program Quality Lead, you will be responsible for providing support to existing and future sites in the implementation of the AFPP program ensuring fidelity and adherence to best practice modelling of sites in implementing NFP.
The position will be embedded in supporting new sites with an implementation plan as well as working closely with sites to implement the program, identify and address challenges, establish key relationships both internally and with the local Leadership.
The position will also be responsible for all aspects of project management and quality of the Australian Family Partnership Program (AFPP).
About You
To be successful, you will require:
- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/ training.
- Proven experience in high level program administration/project management for large projects including experience and skills in implementation science
- Demonstrated ability to manage high value contracts to deliver quality services and liaise effectively with management, academic staff, and other stakeholders in the project.
- Sound financial knowledge and experience in budgetary reporting with ability to produce high quality reports.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures with proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task/ prioritise work.
- Uses a strength-based approach and is solution focused when working to support others
- Demonstrated ability to apply a solution-focused approach with good attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity and commitment to manage and build positive relationships.
Desirable competencies
- Understanding and experience in working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities and organisations.
- Knowledge of Implementation Science processes
- An understanding of implementing a licenced and evidence led program

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 10. The base salary will be in the range of $128,903 - $143,061 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $150,816 - $167,381 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
