About the role
The successful applicant will undertake records management activities, including the physical and electronic archiving and retrieval of records from the DocShop storage facility, which requires manual handling and the operating of a forklift and delivering records to clients as required.
Working within our team, you must have excellent customer service skills, great attention to detail and the ability to multitask. You will have current computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook together with excellent verbal and written skills.
This is a casual position ranging between 3-5 days per week at The DocShop.
Duties include
Archive and retrieve records from The DocShop storage facility, involving manual handling and occasional forklift use, including physical delivery of records to clients.
Catalogue and enter data for all incoming and outgoing records, ensuring accurate registration, scanning, indexing and distribution as directed.
Maintain accurate inventory records using records management software, ensuring all associated documentation is correctly completed, verified and filed.
Provide delivery and collection services as required. This role requires confidence driving in both regional and metropolitan areas, as well as direct interaction with customers.
Assist promptly and professionally to telephone and email requests relating to storage and retrieval services.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized storage area in accordance with workplace standards and directions.
Complete all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and with minimal supervision.
Be available for on-call duties outside business hours on a roster basis.
Perform other duties and responsibilities within the scope of the position as required.
What we're looking for
Skills and experience
Ability to develop a thorough understanding of the O’Neil Records Management application and related systems.
Proven customer service skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience in managing electronic and physical records with high accuracy and speed in data entry
Physically fit and able to safely perform manual handling tasks, including retrieving files and boxes from warehouse storage, lifting, and operating a forklift or order picker.
Strong attention to detail and excellent time management and organisational skills
Applicants must have a current driver’s licence with confidence to drive in both regional and metropolitan areas.
Applicants must provide current police check prior to employment start.
Must hold a valid forklift licence (LF) and be open to training to attain your (LO) order picker forklift licence.
Commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company and regulatory policies.
