The Role
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Estimator to join our team in a hybrid capacity, where you will have the autonomy to manage your own workflow and operate independently. This role is based out of the Sunshine Coast or Brisbane from your home office; with approximately two days per fortnight required at our Head Office in Wondai QLD 4606 located in the South Burnett & we have a Regional Office in Mount Isa, Qld 4825. As part of this role, you will:

Prepare detailed electrical estimates for projects ranging from the Sunshine Coast to South Burnett and Northwest Queensland and travel for site inspections as required.

Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, clients, and suppliers to ensure competitive and accurate quotes.

Conduct site visits to assess project scope and develop cost-effective solutions.

Complete tender submissions and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

Stay up to date with industry trends, standards, and pricing.

Proactively identify and engage potential clients, build relationships, and promote our capabilities within the industry to generate new business opportunities.

Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)

Eligible Bonuses: Base Salary plus Up to 35k per annum for on target earnings.

About You
To excel in this role, you will need:

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the Electrical Industry.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and industry standards.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in preparing estimates.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to establish and maintain trusting, reliable relationships with stakeholders and potential clients.

Tech-Savvy- Proficient in computers, software programs, and applications i.e estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.

Permanent Australian work rights or valid working visa

Desirable:

Qualifications in electrical and solar or a related field.

Prior experience working in remote or regional areas.

Experience and knowledge using Ground-plan software.
