About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Legal Secretary to support the team in Lindfield. You will play a vital role in supporting our legal professionals and ensuring the smooth running of our practice.
Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to our legal professionals, including drafting correspondence, preparing legal documents, and managing client files
- Organising and maintaining electronic and physical filing systems to ensure the efficient retrieval of information
- Scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and handling client inquiries with professionalism and discretion
- Assisting with the preparation of court documents and liaising with courts and other legal parties as required
- Undertaking general office duties such as data entry, photocopying, and managing stationery supplies
About You
Along with your strong work ethic and previous experience in this role you'll have/be:
- Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident
- Demonstrated experience as a Legal Secretary or similar administrative role within a legal environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in using legal software (ideally Leap) and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy in your work
- A professional and discreet approach, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
