About the role
Gideon Services is looking for a Sales Support Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Carrum Downs, Victoria. In this full-time role, you’ll work closely with the Director, GM, and Sales Manager, providing vital administrative support across sales operations and key account management. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow, offering hands-on experience and mentorship from a seasoned leadership team—perfect for someone looking to build a future in sales.
What you'll be doing
Providing administrative support to our sales team in the management of key accounts (new line templates, promotional submission, updating purchase orders with customers)
Assisting with the preparation of new opportunity costing
Run reports from Netsuite ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system for management review (sales, customer orders)
Maintaining customer relationships through a mix of emails and phone calls (check ins, offering proposals)
Customer sales report analysis - identifying trends, opportunities and challenges
Assisting on post-activity review on major projects
Product sample requests (retailer submissions/ photography samples)
Contributing to the continuous improvement of our sales processes and procedures
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the overall success of the business
Ad-hoc tasks supporting the GM and Director
What we're looking for
Experience in a sales support or customer service role, preferably within the sales industry
Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
Microsoft Excel proficiency - intermediate level requirement
A proactive with a willingness to listen, learn and adapt
Small business team mindset – flexible and proactive in stepping beyond defined responsibilities to support the team when needed
