Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for Internal Sales and Customer Service at a PVC pipe manufacturing company in Deer Park, VIC. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, processing orders, and delivering excellent service to ensure their satisfaction. This role is crucial for driving sales, resolving customer issues, and cultivating strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales:

- Manage inbound calls and emails related to customer orders and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

- Prepare accurate quotations and input orders into the Pronto system, prioritising urgent requests.

- Track orders through to delivery, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

- Update customers on order status and efficiently resolve complaints.

- Qualify leads through outbound calls and upsell or cross-sell products when appropriate.

- Build strong relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and drive repeat business.

Sales Administration:

- Maintain accurate customer records and process invoices promptly.

- Handle approved customer credits and credit applications.

- Support Sales Representatives and coordinate with Dispatch and Production teams to ensure smooth order processing.

Customer Guarantee:

- Verify vehicle loads against sales orders and create delivery dockets.

- Communicate delivery statuses, estimated times of arrival (ETAs), and any delays to customers.

Systems & Compliance:

- Accurately enter data into company systems while maintaining confidentiality.

- Adhere to business policies and procedures.

Safety Management:

- Follow safe practices and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

- Participate in safety initiatives, training, and audits.

- Ensure compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and promptly report incidents.
