We require a Junior Mechanical Drafts Person who will play a vital role in supporting our engineering projects and contributing to the success of our dynamic and innovative company.

Key responsibilities:

Providing engineering design and drafting support for a range of mechanical engineering projects

Producing detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and specifications using CAD software

Creating 2D engineering drawings with a high level of detail

Conducting engineering calculations, analysis, and feasibility studies to ensure the viability and effectiveness of design solutions

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve engineering challenges

Ensuring project deliverables meet all relevant standards, regulations, and client requirements

Providing technical support and guidance to other team members as needed

What we're looking for:

Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field an advantage

Proficiency in using CAD software - Solidworks

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Familiarity with relevant engineering quality standards, codes, and regulations

Energetic, reliable, keen to learn and improve.
