We are seeking a final-year Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering student, recent graduate, or junior drafter with experience in SolidWorks Electrical to assist with redline updates on existing electrical schematics for a mining industry client.

This is a short-term, casual role - ideal for someone looking to build industry experience alongside their studies or early in their career.

Responsibilities

Apply redline updates to existing SolidWorks Electrical drawing packs

Work to existing drawing standards and templates

Generate updated PDFs and project deliverables

Liaise with senior engineer for instructions and review

About You

Currently in 3rd year or above, or recently graduated in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or similar

Experience with SolidWorks Electrical (essential)

Competent with electrical schematics, title blocks, cross-referencing

High attention to detail and clear communication

Able to work independently from clear markups/instructions

Must have Australian work rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
