About the role
Champion Capital Investment Projects Play a pivotal role representing the Region and Asset Manager in delivering fit-for-purpose, operationally ready capital projects. Ensure outcomes align with Water Corporation’s operational, safety, financial, environmental, and social standards.

What you can expect with this role
- Lead with Purpose Across the Project Lifecycle Be the key representative for asset management and operations, acting as the single point of contact throughout project delivery.
- Champion Risk Management Take a proactive role in identifying project risks and business impacts. Ensure stakeholders are informed and supported with clear mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Safety-First Leadership Model exceptional safety standards in all activities—where health and safety are never compromised.
- Inspire Performance Through Leadership Lead by example to energise and motivate your team, driving high performance within a results-focused culture.
- Deliver Operational Readiness Ensure all AHC deliverables meet service delivery expectations and are accurately captured in asset management systems ahead of Asset Transfer (ATR). Address any gaps proactively and escalate when necessary.
- Track Impact and Time Maintain accurate records of recoverable time within corporate systems, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Your skills and experience
For this role, we are looking for great talent with:
- Qualifications & Expertise We’re seeking a candidate with:
- A tertiary or trade-level qualification (post-secondary) in an engineering-related discipline
- Extensive experience in asset and project management
- Proven capability in stakeholder engagement and relationship building
- Desirable Attributes
- Sound knowledge of asset management challenges within Australia’s water industry
- Experience in Wastewater assets and treatment
