Swes Utility Services, based out of Noble Park, specialises in providing essential maintenance services across Victoria's electrical distribution network.

Due to continued growth in operations, we are currently seeking safety focused and self motivated Plant Operators, Trade Assistants and Labourers to join our team on a full time, contract and casual basis.

The Role:

Working in a two person crew and reporting to the Crew Leader you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to help ensure the safe and efficient installation of utility pole reinforcements throughout metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Whilst relevant experience and/or qualifications are desirable (see below), we are willing to fully train the right applicant.

The ideal candidate:

will have the ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment. (Occasional heavy lifting is required.)

will have the ability to operate plant and machinery (no experience necessary, all training provided).

will be able to work effectively in a team environment.

will posses good communication skills (verbal and written) that will facilitate the flow of information to and from the office and field.

will have the ability to read and interpret various documents and planning diagrams (training will be provided).

will have a positive attitude and demonstrate a willingness to learn.

Must have's:

Proactive approach to safety.

Australian Drivers License.

White Card.

Highly Desirable:

Heavy Rigid (HR) License.

Willingness to travel within Victoria (tax free overnight travel allowance paid on a per night basis).

ESI Worker Card / Vesi Skills Passport.

Traffic Management.

First Aid.

Forklift License.

Any other relevant industry experience, tickets or qualifications.
