Labourer / Trades Assistant – Glass Installation

Cheltenham, VIC | Full-Time | Exciting Architectural Glazing Projects | Car May Be Provided

We’re a small, friendly team based in Cheltenham, specialising in high-end architectural glazing – think frameless glass pool fencing, glass balustrades, curved glass, overhead glazing and more.

Right now, we’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Trades Assistant to join us on-site and learn the ropes. You don’t need to have experience with glass – we’re happy to train the right person – but a background in something practical (like carpentry, cabinet making or general construction) will be a big advantage.

What the role involves:

Assisting with glass installations on residential and commercial sites around Melbourne

Lifting, prepping and moving materials safely

Helping with measuring, drilling, fixing, sealing and finishing

Keeping the site tidy and equipment organised

Learning and developing your skills on the job

What we’re looking for:

A great attitude: reliable, hardworking and willing to learn

Ability to problem solve

Physically fit and confident working on-site

Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

White Card and driver’s licence (must be able to drive manual)

Previous experience in trades/construction is highly regarded

What we offer:

Competitive pay ranging from $28–$38/hr depending on experience, plus superannuation.
