GCS Service A1 Hydraulics is a family owned and operated business based in Hallam, which has been in operation for over 20 years. We are seeking a reliable, full-time Trades Assistant to join our team as soon as possible. This role involves assisting in the service and repair of Dock Levellers and various styles of industrial doors.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Experience using hand and power tools;
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; willingness to travel to various client sites
• An ability to proactively work in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong organizational and team working skills;
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good problem solving skills and attention to detail;
• A strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety
  

The successful candidate will be:

• Attending site, with a Service Technician, to either complete service inspections, assess breakdowns or conduct onsite repairs
• Involved in the installation of refurbished hydraulic dock levellers and dock related repairs
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all client interactions are positive and professional.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment.
