The Gateways Support Services vision is to provide support for children and adults with a disability and their families to maximise their quality of life. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team for 33 hours per fortnight, based at our service in Newcomb.

About the role:
In the capacity of a Residential Support Worker, you will provide extensive support to individuals with disabilities within a residential setting, covering tasks such as personal care, meal assistance, hoisting, and transfers.
At Gateways we work on a fortnightly, Week 1/ Week 2 roster, our work weeks run Thursday to Wednesday. Roster details are below:
Week 1:
Saturday: 3pm – 10pm (7 hours)
Sunday: 7am – 9am (2 hours)
Week 2:
Friday: 3pm – 10pm (7 hours) & sleepover
Saturday: 7am – 9am & 9am – 3pm (8 hours)
Monday: 3pm – 10pm (7 hours) & sleepover
Tuesday: 7am – 9am (2 hours)

Please note that the following compliance documents are required if successful for the role:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
- NDIS Workers Orientation Module (certificate of completion)
- Employee Working with Children Check (Victorian)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
- Valid Victorian Driver's License
- Qualification in Disability, Community Services, Social Work or equivalent (desirable)
