Overview
We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to join our Student Life team as the Senior Manager, Student Health and Wellbeing. This pivotal role will lead the strategic development and delivery of health and wellbeing services that support the holistic success of our diverse student population.
The Senior Manager, Student Health & Wellbeing will lead and manage a multidisciplinary team delivering psychological counselling services, health services, proactive mental health and wellbeing services, and oversee the university’s response to student incident and support. In addition to this, the Senior Manager, Student Health & Wellbeing will lead the implementation of a university-wide student health and wellbeing strategy aligned with ECU’s strategic priorities.
In this role, you will foster a proactive, preventative, and inclusive approach to student health and wellbeing. You will also collaborate with academic and professional staff to embed wellbeing into the student experience and oversee risk management, compliance, and quality assurance in relation to student health and wellbeing operations, as well as the National Code for Gender-Based Violence. In addition to this, you will utilise data and research to inform service delivery, innovation, and continuous improvement and represent ECU in sector-wide wellbeing initiatives and partnerships.
We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate leader with a strong background in health, mental health, or wellbeing services, who brings strategic insight, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to student success. Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $159,007 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
