We’re looking for a Senior Back End Developer with hands-on experience in mining environments, particularly with autonomous fleet systems, to help drive the next generation of their software platform.

About the Role

You will take ownership of core backend services that power mission-critical applications in large-scale mining operations. Working in a high-performance team, you’ll develop clean, scalable solutions using C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and RabbitMQ, while collaborating closely with front-end, architects, and testers.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop robust backend systems using C#/.NET Core
• Build and maintain APIs and services supporting autonomous vehicle coordination and control
• Integrate real-time messaging and data pipelines using RabbitMQ
• Optimise performance, scalability, and maintainability of critical backend processes
• Work with cross-functional teams including product managers, embedded systems engineers, and QA testers
• Implement best practices in clean code, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Contribute to design decisions and mentor junior developers

Must-Have Experience

• 5+ years' experience in backend development with C# and .NET Core
• Strong experience with Entity Framework (Code First & Database First)
• Proven experience in the mining sector, specifically working with or supporting autonomous fleet technologies
• Expertise in message-based architectures using RabbitMQ or similar messaging queues
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, performance tuning, and system reliability
