WA Prestige Cabinets is a respected Western Australian company specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-quality custom cabinetry.

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Cabinetry Estimator & Designer to join our team. If you thrive on turning ideas into precise designs, can confidently cost projects, and enjoy working directly with clients on material and layout selections — this role is for you.

About the Role

This role is centred around accurate quoting and functional, well-crafted cabinetry design. You’ll be responsible for guiding clients through the design process, interpreting their vision, and producing accurate estimates, technical documents, and working drawings in conjunction with the drafting team.

You will:

Meet with homeowners, builders, or renovators to discuss cabinetry needs and take site measurements.

Develop design concepts based on client preferences and space constraints.

Use Jobman to generate quotes. (training provided if required)

Liaise with the drafting team to provide plans, elevations and internal cabinet details

Recommend materials and finishes from our onsite selection room, including laminate's, stone tops, and timber veneers.

Integrate hardware solutions (e.g. Blum, Hafele, Hettich) into your designs.

Ensure that all plans align with manufacturing feasibility and budget expectations.

Make adjustments based on client feedback and prepare final documentation for production handover.

Stay up to date with design trends and product innovations to ensure cutting-edge solutions.

What You Bring

Proven experience in cabinet design, estimating, or drafting (minimum 2 years preferred)

Ability to read and interpret building plans and client sketches

Confidence in using estimating software

Solid understanding of cabinetry construction methods and materials

Familiarity with current trends in kitchen and bathroom design

Exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to balance aesthetics with functionality

Strong communication skills to guide clients through design choices and selections
