The organisation:

Carbitool, a subsidiary of Sutton Tools, are a proudly Australian-owned company and a leading manufacturer of precision cutting tools. They are on the 'hunt' for a Machine Operator who is mechanically minded, has a willingness to learn and wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing.

As a key member of the production team, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and production lines. You'll be helping deliver high-quality products while keeping safety and efficiency front of mind.

About the role:

• Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
• Monitoring performance and making simple adjustments
• Performing routine equipment checks
• Reporting faults or issues promptly
• Working with supervisors and teammates to hit daily targets
• Keeping clear, accurate records of machine output
• Assisting with general machine cleaning and maintenance

About you:

• Previous experience in a machine operator or manufacturing role (preferred)
• A mechanical mindset - you know your way around a machine
• A strong focus on safety and attention to detail
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• A reliable, can-do attitude
• Willingness to learn new processes and grow your skills
