Hawkins Group are seeking experienced SMP Construction Projects Supervisors to join us on current long-term large-scale Mining Construction projects (new-build workshops, mining camps and various structures) across Central and North Queensland.

Reporting to the Project Manager, this position will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising daily activities of work crews; ensuring compliance with internal, client, and legislative HSE requirements; and ensuring that the quality, production, and environmental requirements of the project are met.

Hours are typically 12h per day on a 14/7 or similar Roster (depending on the site).

Requirements for the role include but are not limited to the following:

Supervisory experience

Hold the Supervisor & Risk Facilitator competencies (S1, 2, 3 & G2)

QLD Coal Board Medical (Advantage)

A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to contribute to a high-performing leadership team

Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a large workforce in the field

Strong attention to detail and demonstrable experience achieving tight deadlines

Proven track record of maintaining a safe working environment

Mine Site & Industrial Construction Experience is highly advantageous
