Full-Time Chef – Mr Burger Rosny
Mr Burger Rosny is on the hunt for a full-time Chef to lead the kitchen across our busiest days — Friday through Tuesday (40 hours/week). This role includes primarily nighttime work, so evening availability is essential.
We're not just a burger shop. We serve breakfast, burgers, sides, and more — all made in-house using fresh Tasmanian produce. We take pride in doing things properly, with high standards and zero shortcuts.
What you'll be doing:
Running service in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
Leading and supporting junior staff
Overseeing proper opening and closing procedures
Ensuring food is prepped and sent out to spec
Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen
What we need from you:
Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen
Minimum 3 years' experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment
Confidence managing a team and leading by example
High attention to detail and consistency
Strong time management and communication skills
Willingness to work nights (Friday–Tuesday roster)
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Valid right to work in Australia
Ability to pass National Police Check
