Job title: Chef
Rate: $60-68k + 11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances
Roster: Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat and Sunday (38-hour week)

We are currently looking for a skilled Chef to join our Hospitality Team at our Aged Care Facility located on Thursday Island. This is a permanent, full-time position with subsidised rent for the duration (1 bedroom accommodation) and relocation assistance.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant trade qualifications or skills from previous experience
• Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
• Understanding of food and beverage standards
• Confidence to fulfil the relevant probity tests mandated by laws or regulations
• Aged care experience (highly desirable)
• Experience in remote locations / Islander life with First Nations exposure (highly desirable)
