360 Health + Community is a community based primary health care service with a difference. Our local teams are based in Perth, Peel, the Midwest and Goldfields to bring care and support to people when, where and how they need it most. As part of this offering, we operate three headspace centres along the beautiful coastline south of Perth. We are seeking a suitably qualified and registered mental health professional to support the growth of the team at headspace Fremantle, and facilitate excellence in integrated, holistic healthcare and support for young people aged 12 to 25 years.
The Clinical Leave is a pivotal leadership role overseeing the coordination and delivery of clinical services. It entails supporting and supervising the access team, overseeing the development and implementation of evidence-based clinical services, promoting high-quality mental health care, advocating for family inclusion, managing caseloads and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
You will actively engage with key agencies in the community and with other 360 Health + Community employees to establish and maintain working relationships. These partnerships are essential for developing integrated care pathways that ensure seamless and holistic support for young people accessing headspace services. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and innovative professional with expertise in mental heath services delivery, culturally appropriate care, and a strong understanding of social and emotional wellbeing for First Nations young people and communities.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, mental health nursing or occupational therapy
- current AHPRA registration or AASW membership (essential - only candidates with this requirement will be considered)
- experience in clinical practice that demonstrates a strong evidence base as it relates to direct service provision and programs that support young people and their families
- demonstrated experience working within, and the ability to continuously review and improve, clinical systems for a health or community services organisation, including effectively responding to clinical risk, allocating resources, managing clinician workloads, coordinating a multidisciplinary team and service demand management
- experience leading a clinical team and a demonstrated capacity to effectively engage in management processes
- high level communication and presentation skills and experience engaging with a diverse range of people in the sector
