Qualifications & experience

Tertiary qualification in Microbiology, Food Technology, or minimum 3 years' experience in a QA or Technical role, FMCG industry preferred

Knowledge & experience in Australian food legislation and understanding of relevant food safety and quality system standards

Proven track record in QMS

Proven root cause analysis experience

Personal characteristics: effective communication both written and verbal, inquisitive by nature, determined to identify root causes and implement solutions, excels in planning and organization, a high level of commitment to improving process and high-quality standards.

Experience in internal and/or supplier auditing desired but not required

Tasks & responsibilities

Develop and foster a quality focused company culture that factors quality in all tasks within the organization.

Participate RCA's investigations and provide sustainable corrective actions through analysis, validation and verification procedures.

Achieve all set targets and development plans with within the allocated timeframes.

Develop an in depth understanding of the site manufacturing processes.

Contribute to site compliance against GMP & Food Safety Programs

OHS - Understand and demonstrate full compliance to the Work Health and Safety requirements at all times on and off site

Must be available to work across rotating shifts including early mornings when required
