AWS Cloud Solution Architect - NV1 security clearance

• Daily rate of between $1300p/d and $1600p/d (dependent on your level of experience)

Kinexus is a specialist recruitment agency that has been supporting the Australian defence industry for over 24 years. We have been requested to support in a search for a key role in an Australian Defence Intelligence agency who is looking to uplift, upgrade and enhance the capabilities of its AWS cloud-based intelligence platform, so that it can better support the needs of the agency and the wider Defence organisation.

In this role, you will work with technical, security and business stakeholders across Defence as a whole to deliver enhancements to the intelligence platform, taking the lead on matters relating to AWS. You will be involved in the creation and review of technical design documentation, along with reviewing existing solution, design and system architecture.

Selection criteria:

• A minimum of NV1 security clearance (must actively hold or be reinstatable)
• Extensive experience in AWS solution architecture across cloud infrastructure, applications and integration (ERP/asset management)
• Experience in Commercial/Goverment Off-The-Shelf (COTS/GOTS) solutions
• TOGAF and SOA certification, or extensive experience across both frameworks
• Previous experience in Defence or intelligence projects
