About the Role
As a senior technical leader, you’ll be responsible for shaping and delivering enterprise-grade Azure cloud solutions. You’ll own architecture design, develop migration strategies, and collaborate across engineering, security, and delivery teams to drive digital transformation outcomes for government clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and lead complex migrations from legacy infrastructure to Microsoft Azure.
• Design and deliver Azure-native solutions that align with business, performance, and security goals.
• Build cloud adoption frameworks, landing zones, and governance models.
• Conduct infrastructure assessments and define actionable migration roadmaps.
• Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, security, and application teams for seamless solution delivery.
• Define and promote architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Mentor cloud engineers and contribute to capability uplift across the project team.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical design and strategic objectives.

• Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Azure Well-Architected Framework, Landing Zones, Cloud Adoption Framework
• Hybrid and multi-cloud environments

Migration & Modernisation

• Azure Migrate, Site Recovery, Resource Mover
• Modernisation strategies: rehost, replatform, refactor
• Application and data migration methodologies

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

• ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, Ansible
• PowerShell, Bash, Python
• Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Azure Functions

DevOps & CI/CD

• Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins
• Docker, Kubernetes, AKS
• End-to-end integration with CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• 8+ years in cloud architecture and enterprise IT environments

Eligibility: Australian Citizenship and NV1 clearance is required
