Essjay Contracting Pty Ltd is a Civil & Mining Construction company based in Gracemere, QLD and we are looking for an Accounts Receivable & Payroll Officer, to join our team on a 6 Months casual fixed term contract starting July 2025, with the option to go permanent after the 6 months.

Duties may include

Day-to-day administration

Accounts payable / accounts receivable processing

Data entry, Payroll processing and running reports

Maintaining filing systems

Checking timesheet reports in system to ensure accurate for payment

Address any employee questions in relating to payroll

Liaise with outside agencies

Assist our accounts payable officer when required

To be considered for this role, you need to have the following:

Experience in payroll preferred but not essential, accounts receivable or accounts payable

A great attitude and exceptional attention to detail are essential

Managing employee payroll queries

High level of computer proficiency and accuracy, particularly using Microsoft programs including Excel & MYOB Accountright

Excellent communication skills to liaise with team, customers, other trades and organisations.

Be proactive, and organised on all work tasks, and complete work in the allocated time frame.

Strong work ethic, and can-do attitude.

Strong diagnostic and problem solving ability.
