I am currently looking for an experience Accounts Receivable Officer who thrives in fast-paced environments to join a reputable organisation in Brisbane. This contracting role is based in Brisbane's South and is looking for someone to start immediately.

Description

What this role requires:

• Managing the end-to-end accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and payment allocations.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Prepare and distribute regular AR reports to stakeholders.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and liaise with customers regarding payment arrangements.
• High-volume general ledger management.
• Support month-end and year-end financial processes as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Provide input on process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.

Profile

A successful Accounts Receivable Officer should have:

• 3-5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a related role.
• Strong understanding of financial systems and accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in software such as Business Central and Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with customers and stakeholders.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
• Experience in the public sector is advantageous but not essential.
