About the role:

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service to guide GS1 Australia members through the membership lifecycle. Enjoy the best of both worlds with our hybrid work model: 3 in office days and 2 remote days, providing flexibility and work-life balance.

Day-to-day tasks:

Providing advice via phone and email on how to become a new GS1 member.

Addressing member inquiries through various communication channels, including phone, email, and live chat.

Helping members to understand and use the GS1 numbering system.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date member records in the CRM, ensuring all interactions and relevant information are properly documented.

Providing basic training to members on how to use the GS1 member portal, e.g. logging in, navigating etc.

Contribute to process improvements by participating in projects, sharing member feedback, identifying recurring issues, and suggesting enhancements to existing systems and procedures.

Participating in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.

What you'll bring

Strong customer service orientation with a passion for helping others.

Proficient computer skills and experience with CRM tools or databases.

Previous experience supporting customers or members in a fast-paced environment.

Outstanding attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively understand members' needs and provide clear and concise responses.

An understanding of the importance of following standard operating procedures.

Prior experience in a customer/member support role would be advantageous.
