Ready to take on a dynamic and fast-paced admin role? We’re offering a full-time Business Traineeship with a leading Australian-owned company in the earthmoving and equipment hire industry. The hours of work will rotate between 6am–3pm, 7am–4pm, and 9am–6pm On a rotating roster, with the added requirement of being on-call on Saturdays. This is your opportunity to gain real-world logistics and operations experience while completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.
This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and an eagerness to build a career in operations, scheduling, and client service.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and fulfil daily service requirements for plant and equipment in line with operational objectives.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date contractor and client records in the internal database.
· Manage COD bookings through to completion in accordance with company policies and procedures.
· Allocate jobs to subcontractors with complete information, ensuring alignment with grading system and best supply outcomes.
· Build strong relationships with subcontractors by understanding their capabilities, collecting service feedback, and supporting their onboarding and equipment grading.
· Report instances of poor service and provide subcontractor performance feedback to the Operations Manager (VIC).
· Use internal systems efficiently to enhance customer experience and maintain compliance with all company policies and approval procedures.
· Perform other tasks and administrative support duties as directed by the Operations Manager (VIC).

What You’ll Need:
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
While not essential, it’s beneficial to have knowledge or experience with earthmoving materials and their reuse potential, plant operations and limitations, truck capabilities (TMR and NHVR), regional operations, logistics and contract cartage processes, EPA compliance, and relevant commercial and legal obligations.
Not currently undertaking a qualification equal to or higher than a Cert III in Business
Willing to commit to a 12–18-month traineeship
