Business Trainee
Location: Ringwood, Victoria
Are you looking to kickstart your career in payroll and business administration? MEGT has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-focused individual to join our team as a National Payroll Officer Trainee based in Ringwood.
About the role:
This business traineeship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and build your skills while working in a supportive payroll team. You'll learn how to:
- Process weekly wages, allowances, reimbursements and termination pays
- Assist with employment benefit payments for apprentices and trainees
- Manage payroll queries including timesheets, payslips, leave and entitlements
- Maintain accurate payroll records and comply with relevant legislation
- Support end-of-year payroll processes and reporting
What we're looking for:
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident working with figures
- A positive, self-motivated attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
