Inspira Kids are expanding their team and are excited to offer the opportunity for a Assistant Centre Manager / Second in Charge (2IC) to join their team at the Archer Street Centre in Shepparton, in a permanent part-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 9.30am and 5.30pm. This leadership role is ideal for someone who is ready to grow their career while contributing to the success of our centre and the development of the children.
Early Childhood Teachers (ECT) are also encouraged to apply!

Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Centre Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the centre.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre in the temporary absence of the Centre Manager or where required.
Assist with leading, mentoring and supervising all employees within the service ensuring delivery of high-quality education and care.
Support the Educational Leader in the development and implementation of innovative educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Assist the Centre Director with developing the centre’s current policies, and offering ideas for improvement, where you see necessary.
Co-ordinate centre operations, including Occupational Health and Safety, program planning and staff training.
Ensure compliance with licensing, statutory requirements and quality assurance frameworks, including the National Quality Standards (NQS).
Build strong and meaningful relationships with children, families/guardians and team members.
Actively engage in the continuous improvement of the centre’s operations and learning environment.
About You
Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent (ACECQA-approved).
Previous experience in a leadership or 2IC role in an Early Learning Centre is highly desirable.
Hold a current Working with Children’s Check and
Hold First Aid Certificate (including CPR and Asthma Anaphylaxis Training).
Hold a cleared and current National Police Check.
Have a thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
